Is The Future of Smoking an Electronic Cigarette?

A relatively new invention has hit the marketplace and is satisfying smokers nicotine cravings without the use of tobacco.

Called an Electronic Cigarette or ‘E-Cig’ , let’s take a closer look at how these products work and what they actually are.

Looking just like a traditional cigarette an E-cig consists of a rechargeable battery, a vaporizer and a changeable cartridge. Refill cartridges come in optional flavors and different strengths of nicotine, some use the product just for the flavor as cartridges are available with no nicotine whatsoever. Upon taking a drag the user inhales and exhales a mixture of propylene glycol, water, nicotine and flavoring which resembles that of regular tobacco smoke.

The mist or vapor produced does not carry any of the numerous chemicals found in traditonal cigarettes, other than nicotine. They also contain no tar, as there is no burning off of tobacco.
When a user takes a drag on an E-cig there is even an LED light at the tip of the product resembling a glowing ember. The LED light at the tip will also flash many times letting you know that the battery needs to be changed and recharged.

This new product has become a better alternative to regular cigarettes say many users. An E-cig will not leave you with smelly clothes, stains on your teeth or fingers or bad breath so it is easy to see why this is becoming a better alternative for many users. Producing no first or secondhand smoke the E-cig can be smoked in public, a plus for those who wish to smoke where traditional smokiing has been banned.

There are many brands of E-cigs available such as Smart Smoke, Gamucci, E-puffer or the leading US brand Njoy Cigarettes.

As with traditional cigarettes the E-cig is not for sale to minors but it looks like the future of nicotine delivery without tobacco has gone electronic.
