Why People Smoke And Why People Should Quit Smoking

There are some people who feel that to quit smoking is to quit their fundamental needs, that they will die in a snap without it. While some courageous people have been trying to escape from their cigarette dependence, some are continuously being eaten bit by bit by every  piece of nicotine that gets through their brain. As they inhale every gust of smoke that comes out from every stick of cigar they puff.

Some scientists have undertaken some reports and observations throughout the years and learned that nicotine is one of the world’s greatest killer drug. In fact, the most habit-forming drug of all. Every smoker addict is no different from a shabu (Methamphetamine) or cocaine user. Even if you can’t feel the effects right away, the fact is that it kills your body little by little. The worse part is that most often than not, it’s too late when you notice its bad effects and too late when you decide to turn things around.

There are many reasons why people find it difficult to stop smoking, despite knowing the horrible results it can cause. One of the common reasons why people are dependant to smoking is to control stress. When they feel nervous and troubled, they think smoking can give them fast relief.

Another cause why most people, particularly ladies are possessed with smoking is because of their diet troubles. Some people have this wrong thought and habit. Whenever they hunger for food, instead of eating so as not to gain weight, they instead get a stick and puff till they forget about their cravings.

There are so many other causes why people are hooked to cigarette smoking. Some started it because of peer pressure, curiosity or rebellion, especially for teenagers. Most smokers started it when they are in their teens, tried it and regrettably liked the effect. Suddenly they are all stuck with their addiction and find it tough to get away from it.

The fact is it’s never too late to change. If you find many grounds why you smoke, well there are far more grounds why you should quit. The love for yourself and for your family is sufficient reason why you should take care of your life today. To do that means to stop smoking. Although withdrawal can be a challenging one, there is nothing that your body and your brain can’t overcome if you want to help yourself to the fullest. Although quitting smoking is indeed difficult, it is very possible to attain.

Quit smoking and live a healthy life not just for you, but for your love ones and family. Have a healthy lifestyle and save yourself today.
