Want to stop smoking? Were not about to lecture you but only give some facts

People from all over the world in many cultures and for many years have been smoking tobacco. People then did not become addicted and did not smoke the equivalent of a pack a day or even more. There was not an issue or even a need to want to quit smoking .

In the late 20th century, doctors began issuing harsh warnings on the health effects of smoking cigarettes, which presumably had just recently been discovered. While cigarette manufacturers are now running ads and teaching others the dangers of smoking they continue to sell and advertise this product. This seems a bit disingenuous.

Why has tobacco become so addictive that millions of people who truly have the desire to quit smoking fail?

For many reasons! Just pull one out and light up. Along with convenience and ready availability, people tend to get stuck on ‘their brand’. Some very subtle marketing techniques are employed just for just this purpose. You might even say that much of this product loyalty derives from subliminal techniques, ones you aren’t even aware of when you buy. If you’re a smoker, going to the store at 3am for cigarettes, aren’t you quite disappointed to find they are out of ‘your favorite brand’ and you’ll have to choose another. Psychologically, the other brand is just somehow not as satisfying. This is the brand marketing.

Now knowing some of these facts may help you think about the brand and marketing issue but you still need to get over the addiction to tobacco. The trick now is getting over the brand issue and finding an alternative to smoking. An interesting trend now are these novelty cigarettes such as the Inhalerette It promises the look, feel and taste of smoking — but without the risk of traditional cigarettes. The Inhalerette provides the sensation of smoking but without the tobacco, tar, carbon monoxide, ash, stub, flame, or smell.
