Every person has their own reason to quit smoking. It is quite evident how educated the societies are today, but it is no secret about how millions still continue their smoking habit despite the health hazards that come with it. Smoking causes cancer. Smoking causes heart diseases. Smoking causes all sorts of problems to the body and mind of a person. These are some of the many reasons to quit smoking. Giving up this habit can be difficult, but it is worth the effort.

Studies show that almost 90% of persons who suffer from lung cancer and oral cancer are smokers. Some smokers who are in the early stage of cancerous diseases or suffer from various other illnesses tend to quit smoking after they are diagnosed with a deadly disease like this. The reasons to quit smoking are numerous. Realizing that smoking is dangerous to your body as well as the people around you can save you from suffering in the long run.

We are born to this world with the ability of breathing fresh air why would one want to ruin it and make breathing difficult? Additionally, you start to smell like smoke and your breath will start to smell stale.

One of the biggest reasons to quit smoking is it results in the reduction of bad breath. When a person stops smoking, the carbon monoxide comes back down to the normal level, increasing your stamina within a short period of time. This can occur soon after the first few days a person has quit smoking.  The blood circulation will also take place in a much better way.

A similar sight in smokers is a cough they’d be having for a long period of time. With time this cough will keep damaging their lungs. Once a person quits his smoking habit and the lungs start to heal, you will notice the coughing decrease with time.

Smoking cigarettes means a person looses his life every minute. Don’t you want to live a healthy life and not inflict pain on your loved ones? One of the most important reasons to quit smoking is this; the lesser amount you smoke will mean that you can add more years to your life.

Quitting smoking has benefits for the smoker as well as the others around him. They will be able to breathe in fresh air for a change. If there are children involved, they wouldn’t end with serious attacks of asthma, etc by inhaling the smoke. What’s best is that there will be more money saved in your pockets which can be used for a better cause rather than spending it on cigarette packs.
