Using this method, you’ll listen to a therapist guiding you through a hypnotic induction, and then make suggestions to help you quit smoking. You can use the recording anytime it’s convenient for you. It’s generally recommended that you listen at least once or twice a day.
With this approach, you’ll be working with fairly general suggestions, rather than ones that have been designed specifically for you. And they are very affordable.
I I believe that everyone trying to stop smoking should consider using hypnosis, but I don’t think hypnosis alone is going to be successful in helping people stop completely. In other words, it’s not reasonable to think that going to a stop smoking hypnosis seminar or buying a hypnosis CD will be enough to free you from the smoking habit by itself.
